COBY SHIELD

Coby is a championship winning driver and coach. With multiple National and Class Championships under his belt, he has grown to become a trusted and reliable professional racing driver. Coby competes in GT4 America with Van der Steur Racing along side his co-driver and car owner Brady Behrman for the 2023 racing season. Early Career: 

Coby got his start in the time trial world. While working at Kaizen Autosport as a racing school instructor, he went on to win multiple Gridlife class championships as well as an SCCA TT national championship while setting over 10 track records. Justin Emanuel from Carroll Shelby Racing recognized Shield's success and offered him a ride in the teams mustang Boss 302S race car. They went on to win the NASA national championship their first year campaigning that car with multiple wins. For 2022 Coby coached and co-drove with Brady Behrman in International GT where they saw great success with multiple wins while finishing second in the Championship even though they joined the series half way through the year.
